Why a finger light instead of a headlamp in an attic?+
A headlamp aims wherever your head points and gets blocked by joists and duct. The beam on your finger goes into the cabinet with your hands, right where the work is.
Does it fit over work gloves?+
Yes. The Griptonite ring bends to fit any finger or thumb, bare or gloved, and holds while you pull panels and run gauges.
Can it handle condensate and dirty coils?+
It's IPX7 waterproof, so condensate, drain pans, and a rinse at the end of the day don't matter. It wipes clean.
Will the battery last between service calls?+
About 2.5 hours on dim and 45 minutes on bright, and a USB-C top-up in the truck between calls takes about 90 minutes from empty. Dim covers most panel and coil work.
What about tight panels and crawlspaces?+
It's about an inch across and worn on your finger, so it goes into cabinets and crawlspace runs with your hands while both stay free for the tools.
